When creating a user, you are given an error Script Output: /usr/local/directadmin/scripts/custom/user_create_pre.sh or another similar error when trying to create a resource (like a domain, email address, etc).

Solution

This error typically indicates that you are attempting to exceed the limits set in XenReseller. XenReseller limits are package-based and must be set up in a package. Any account overrides will not work and you must create a separate package for that account.

Please verify that the package the affected account is assigned has sufficient limits and that the user would not exceed the limits by performing the action that is resulting in an error.
